Assistant Director of NJ4S

Job Summary: You will provide program leadership, administrative operations, and supervision of all assigned aspects of the Hub office. You will assist the Director in the development of integrating existing statewide and community-based services and supports for school-age youth to maximize public funding and avoid duplication of services. Additionally, you will maintain active, constructive relationships with various local and statewide organizations, including collaborative partners, funding sources, elected officials, community groups, service providers, government offices, and other relevant agencies.

What You Will Do: Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to assigned staff to enhance their skill sets, leadership qualities, and administrative functions
  • Provide ongoing support to staff to ensure completion of job responsibilities
  • Review staff responsibilities to determine the time frame and scope of authority, review staffing requirements and allotment of available resources
  • Evaluates staff productivity and documentation of service delivery
  • Provide supervision and administrative management for all assigned projects

Other Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee staff and activities of Hub Tier 3 services and operational unit(s)
  • Provide general administrative and/or fiscal management activities, program policy and planning services, along with varied social, community, and/or educational-related services for the region
  • Develop regular forums for communication with local partners and stakeholders, as well as programming that is responsive to community needs
  • Provide supervisory oversight and management of the Hub staff and the model to ensure alignment with program procedures and DCF Operations Manual
  • Assists the Director in the development of the program's administrative and programmatic operations
  • Ensures staff's compliance with reporting requirements and all quality assurance policies and standards
  • Develop and maintain partnerships and collaborations with school districts and community resources and ensure program availability, opportunities, and successes are marketed to promote program sustainability
  • Participates in relevant community meetings to promote program awareness;

What We Need to See:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years' experience in community organizing, developing community partnerships and project management
  • Five (5) years of experience analyzing, monitoring, maintaining, or implementing social service, community service, evidence-based programs, or any other human support/assistance program, three (3) of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity.
  • Fully Licensed Clinician (LCSW/LPC) whose licensure enables them to supervise other clinicians who do not possess independent licensure.
  • Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance for primary drivers
