Job Description:

As a Case Manager for PACES, you will provide triage and assessment related to youth's educational and occupational goals to help them attain long-term success. You will assist in developing academic and soft skills, arranging supplemental instruction for continued support, linkages to resources and additional programs, promoting and scheduling job interviews and college tours, and delivering ongoing attention to support in terms of financial aid, navigation, and relationship development.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with 25 high school and/or college students in developing an enhancing academic skill, applying to colleges, trade schools, and financial aid.
  • Be a facilitator for clients' educational needs
  • Travel to young adults residing in the Northern Region of the state (Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Morris, Warren, and Sussex).
  • Assist young adults to secure and maintain employment, including job searches, resume building, and roleplaying interviews.
  • Teach and model soft skills training, such as communication, professionalism, organization, study skills, and self-advocacy.
  • Communicate with system partners, including DCPP, CMO, and schools, to work toward assisting the students in reaching their short and long-term goals.

What We Need to See:

  • BA or Master's degree in education, school counseling, or other related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Two (2) years' experience providing services to children and families in crisis or educational process.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • A valid driver's license is required and must be insurable by Agency's automobile insurance
