Location: Between 10 Group Homes in Bergen County (5-10-minute proximity)
On-site, per-diem: days and hours vary upon shifts needed; potential hours operate between 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Job Summary:
You will safely operate agency vehicles to transport clients to and from the agency, recreational outings, and medical appointments for our Partial Care Program.

What You Will Do:

• Provide door-to-door transportation.
• Safely use agency vehicles while transporting clients to and from medical, social service, and other specialized appointments.
• Follow all vehicle safety and vehicle maintenance procedures as outlined in the Agency's Transportation Manual.
• Assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle, the agency, and their homes, including those who are wheelchair-bound or disabled.
• Oversee clients while in transport and intervene if any conflicts or crises arise (medical or psychiatric), reporting any such incidents immediately to the Program Manager or Director
• Report any client absences daily
  

What We Need to See:

• A High School Diploma
• A valid driver's license and must be insurable under Agency's automobile insurance policy.
• A good driving record and previous experience working in a mental healthcare environment are desirable
• CPR certified or eligible for CPR training
