Salary: $50 per hour for LAC or LSW; $60 per hour for LCSW or LPC

Location: Rochelle Park / Hybrid (Build your own Schedule!)

*Evening shifts (4:00 pm - 9:00 pm) and Saturdays Availability

Job Summary:
As a Clinician in our Outpatient Department, you will work with our team of knowledge clinicians providing comprehensive mental health services to our clients, including assessments, treatment plans, and individual counseling. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use various evidence-based modalities to aid in the mental health recovery journey of your clients, collaborate cross-departmentally with other healthcare providers, and be part of a team committed to provided wholistic and accessible care. This is a great opportunity both for those entering the field and those who have more experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Demonstrate an ability to have a diverse caseload of approximately 45-55 clients of various ages and clinical presentations to be able to expand one's clinical knowledge and experience.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and assessments to help individuals achieve their treatment goals, link to community resources, and provide inter-agency coordination of treatment.
  • Assess and evaluate clients at intake, admission, during ongoing treatment and service delivery, and at discharge or transfer.
  • Formulate psychosocial treatment plans with relevant goals, behaviorally measurable objectives that serve as indexes for evaluating treatment progress, and realistic time frames for achievement.
  • Respond to clients for crisis intervention.
  • Plan for, communicate, and document discharge/aftercare/transfer plans for clients completing treatment and accessing other services in the continuum.
  • Function as a member of an interdisciplinary team in the assessment and evaluation of clients, provide written documentation of client's history and assessment information, and actively participate in program and clinical team meetings.


What We Need to See:

  • Master's degree in a behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience in the mental health field, including but not limited to internships, community-based services, case management, etc.
  • Must have the ability to respond to clients for crisis intervention.
  • Provisional/Professional Licensure to practice counseling/clinical social work (LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • A valid driver's license and you must be insurable by the agency's automobile insurance
