Job Summary:
You provide infant and early childhood mental health consultation (IECMHC) to early care and education programs.


What You Will Do:

  • Provide evidence-based mental health promotion, prevention, and early intervention.
  • Provide infant and early childhood mental health consultation (IECMHC) to early care and education programs (e.g., licensed or regulated center-based and homebased childcare, home visiting, preschool special education, early intervention programs).
  • Provide training to child and family-serving professionals with expertise in infant and early childhood mental health with respect to appropriate and relevant integration with other disciplines (such as primary care clinicians, early intervention specialists, child welfare staff, home visitors, early care and education providers, others who work with young children and families).
  • Provide specialized training for mental health clinicians in infant and early childhood mental health, including specific training in promising and evidence-based practices and models for prevention, early intervention, and treatment, trauma or other adverse childhood experiences.


What We Need to See:

  • Master's degree with professional license in the mental health/social work field.
  • 1 years working with children and families.
  • Experience as a trainer, educator, consultant with expertise in infant, children and families.
  • Must have provisional clinical license: LCSW preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
  • A valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance.
