Job Summary:

You will provide services in the CRSC to adults 18+ experiencing a behavioral health crisis 24/7, 365 days a year, which may include, but not be limited to, delivering on-site holistic, comprehensive, direct nursing care tailored to the specific needs and developmental stages of each individual, communicates observations, and information about consumers to the treatment team.


What You Will Do:

  • Provide direct nursing care to individuals served at the CRSC.
  • Perform assessment, triage, treatment, and patient care responsibilities appropriate to the ages of the individuals served and with a knowledge of patient growth and development.
  • Identify and document initial observation and assessment of the patient's needs for immediate nursing action.
  • Provide patient and/or family education as needed.
  • Collaborate with all members of the treatment team and communicate relevant care information during shift-to-shift report.
  • Check that all monitoring and emergency equipment on hand is in good working order.
  • Effectively utilize computer system as it pertains to job responsibilities and policy.
  • Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Must have BA/BS degree from accredited school of nursing
  • Must have experience working with individuals with SMI and individuals with SUD
  • Valid New Jersey licensure as RN
  • Current and valid CPR/AED (BLS) certification
  • Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance for primary drivers
