Job Summary:
As the Bookkeeper, you will work underneath the Assistant Director of CarePlus Workforce Soulutions (CPWS), and alongside the finance team, to complete order entries, interact with customers, and assistant with CPWS clients with troubleshooting issues. Additionally, you will complete accounts receivable and account payable processes, including invoices, payments, monthly reports, and reconciliation. This entry-level role will provide you with a chance to learn about how a Non-Profit operates-with exposure to grants, contracts, and Fee-for-service-in addition to providing cross training in various areas of finance and accounting software.


What You Will Do:

  • Perform bookkeeping functions by serving as the central full charge bookkeeper for all division tracks; assists with budget preparations, if requested; handle accounts; handle cash receipts; make bank deposits; maintain ledgers; track bills for payment by CPNJ accounting department; prepare division financial statements and reports for each business track.
  • Prepare monthly sales statements for Operations Manager and VP when requested; review P&Ls with Operations Manager and VP; Enter division's receivables and payables into CPWS and CPNJ accounting system
  • Conduct invoice activities entering sales into division internal system, preparing and sending customer billing; track orders; track customer payments make collection calls
  • Provide inventory support for all division business tracks
  • Serve as division liaison with CPNJ accounting department; work with CPNJ accounting department to ensure data entry into accounting systems are up to date and accurate
  • Enter all sales and division financial activities into the appropriate accounting systems (i.e. RiverCites, QuickBooks, Excel and/or Traverse), as required
  • Prepare staff and client payroll entering


What We Need to See:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years knowledge and experience in bookkeeping/accounting
  • A valid driver's license and insurable under Agency's automobile insurance policy
